Each branch will shimmer with 210 radiant sapphire lights, culminating in a breathtaking total of 32,340 lights that will bathe the resort in a mesmerizing sapphire glow throughout the holiday season.
CAPE MAY, NJ / ACCESS Newswire / October 29, 2025 / This holiday season, La Mer Beachfront Resort will debut a spectacular new addition to its festive celebrations: a 30-foot Sapphire Light Christmas Tree, one of the tallest and most radiant of its kind along the Jersey Shore.
La Mer Beachfront Resort's NEW Sapphire Tree
This remarkable installation was conceptualized and created in collaboration with The Becker Group. Together, La Mer and The Becker Group have transformed the resort's beachfront into a glowing winter wonderland - a new holiday landmark for Cape May and the entire Jersey Shore. The tree will serve as the centerpiece of La Mer's seasonal celebration, inviting guests, the Cape May community, and visitors from across the region to share in the joy of the season.
"Our new Christmas tree is a celebration of tradition, wonder, and togetherness. With its three-foot star and thousands of lights, it will be a true holiday landmark," said Francesca Santoro, President & CEO of La Mer Beachfront Resort.
"La Mer has long been synonymous with the art of coastal celebration," added George Andy, Managing Partner. "This year's Sapphire Holiday is a testament to our tradition of blending seaside luxury with the spirit of the season-elevating holiday gatherings into extraordinary moments that the Andy family has cultivated for more than fifty years."
The official tree-lighting celebration will take place on Saturday, November 29, 2025, marking the fourth year of La Mer's cherished tree-lighting event and officially ushering in the magic of the holiday season at the resort.
