Huetter returns for second stint as Frankfurt coach
Adi Huetter was named Eintracht Frankfurt coach until 2029 on Sunday, returning to manage the Bundesliga club for a second time.
The Austrian coached Frankfurt for three seasons from 2018 before departing to league rivals Borussia Moenchengladbach in 2021.
Huetter, who also coached Ligue 1 side Monaco, will take over as manager on July 1.
"It's something very special and emotional to be Eintracht Frankfurt's coach again," Huetter said in a statement.
"Looking back, I always felt I wasn't finished."
Frankfurt were without a coach after Albert Riera's short stint came to an end in May.
The Spaniard, a surprise appointment from Slovenian side Celje in January, was sacked at the end of the league campaign after failing to take Frankfurt into Europe.
Riera replaced Dino Toppmoeller, who had taken Frankfurt to third spot and the Champions League the previous campaign but struggled to balance domestic and European duties this season.
