The TD-70 drills the precision orifices that regulate how controlled-release medications are delivered to patients, an application where a fraction of a millimeter can determine therapeutic performance. Two capabilities drove the customer's selection: throughput of up to 70,000 tablets per hour, and a dual-camera vision system that inspects every tablet twice, automatically rejecting any unit outside specification before it moves downstream. Notably, the order covers a complete production line rather than a single machine. Alongside the drilling system, CMS Laser is supplying the tablet handling tooling and conveyor transport that integrate the platform into the customer's production flow, together with the full IQ, OQ, and PQ validation package and on-site installation by its own engineers. That is the documentation and support a pharmaceutical manufacturer needs to qualify new equipment under its GMP quality system, and providing it as part of the order positions CMS Laser inside the customer's qualification process as a technical partner rather than solely an equipment vendor. The Company believes a successful deployment has the potential to support additional system orders as the relationship develops. The system will be built at CMS Laser's manufacturing facility in Winter Park, Florida.

The order follows the Company's expansion into precision medical device manufacturing announced in May 2026, reflecting continued commercial traction for CMS Laser's precision drilling platforms across regulated, high-value healthcare end markets.

In addition to this order, Laser Photonics intends to expand its investment in CMS Laser and its technology platform as part of a broader strategy to support the subsidiary's growth and continued product development. The Company views precision laser drilling as a core capability within its portfolio and intends to direct additional resources toward CMS Laser's engineering, product development, and production capabilities in support of demand across pharmaceutical, medical device, and other regulated end markets.
